As I noted in a previous post there are no "bad" or "negative" emotions - each emotion is simply information. I was excited to hear that a podcast that I love is doing a whole series on the topic of "negative emotions." The podcast is called The Happiness Lab with Dr. Laurie Santos and it offers insights obtained from (good) research and explores how these findings may increase our happiness.
Usually, there are one or two emotions that seem extremely uncomfortable for each of us to manage. However, when we learn more about our emotions and are willing to approach them (in effective ways!), we can learn to tolerate them and learn from them.
